Founded in 1849, Providence Road Baptist Church is the second oldest Baptist Church in the Shreveport and Caddo Parish area and is the oldest rural Baptist church in Caddo Parish.  This long history has provided our church with a rich tradition of vibrant ministry.  

 

Over the years, God has blessed our church and guided us through these many decades of ministry to this community and we look forward to many more to come. 

 

If there's a single word that would describe our church it would be the word "family".  We believe God will continue to expand our family, so we would love to have the chance to welcome you into our family.
